What is cholesterol?

Blood carries cholesterol to our cells so that they can function properly and produce hormones and membranes. We get it from the food we eat, and the liver produces some too. If the cells have enough cholesterol, they refuse to take it. This means that it stays in the bloodstream where it is oxidized and consumed by immune system cells, or macrophages.

Loquat

Loquat (Eriobotrya japonica) helps our bodies to fight free radicals in the blood.

Olive leaf

Olive leaf (Olea europaea) helps to maintain a healthy metabolism
