In the Golan Heights, on the border of Lebanon and Syria, there’s a herb that’s used as an aphrodisiac. We brought it into our laboratory and found that it really works, but that it can be toxic if it’s used in too high a dose. So, we started to look for an alternative. Our herb, Ferula assafoetida, is from the same family of plants and is used as a spice throughout Southeast Asia. We tested it with positive results, and our laboratory studies show that it’s a strong energy booster and antioxidant, and that it helps to keep your circulation healthy. In Feminine we’re combining it with extracts of caper, which is well known as a female aphrodisiac in the Greek-Arabic tradition.
