The Black Widow Spider wife kills her husband after mating using a strong poison. The spider is dangerous and thus much feared.
Why generous?
Studying the spiders poison revealed to scientists that the venom contains alpha-latrotoxin a compound which influences a receptor important for the development of ADHD in children. Thus the dangerous and feared spider wife opens up for a closer study of the disease making life difficult for many families.
